Assignment Content

1. Review the “Real World Security Incident” activity and incorporate your findings in this assignment.

   Research vulnerabilities that may have contributed to security incidents with respect to VPN/SSL as discussed in Weeks 3 and 5.

   Create a 1- to 2-page table comparing the vulnerabilities, threats, and risks for the real-world security incident discussed by the class, along with related vulnerabilities that may have contributed to the security incident.

   Create an 8- to 10-slide multimedia-rich PowerPoint® presentation that you will present to a group of Chief Information Officers (CIO), displaying the vulnerabilities, threats, and risks from least significance to greatest significance and how each would negatively impact the company.

   Format your citations according to APA guidelines.

   Warning: This is a two part assignment. For this assignment submit a table in Word or Excel and then a separate PowerPoint

   Assignment checklist:

   2. The total paper must be 700-1050 words (about 2-3 pages but I will be looking at word count)
   3. If a template is provided, you must use the template.
   4. Use the bullets or key points in the instructions and create corresponding heading and sub headers. This way it will be obvious that you hit the key points
   5. Include at least one references that are properly cited
   6. Any images must have a caption and referenced in the paper.
   7. Combine the screenshots and the remainder of the assignment into one APA formatted document. If you submit the assignment in multiple parts you will lose points
   8. Follow APA format (fonts, etc) – For details on the formatting see the UOP library tab.

   15. Did the pictures add clarity to the message the slides
   16. Did the presentation build curiosity in the audience by revealing information in stages?
   17. Did the presentation repeat the agenda slide as a guidepost to review your points periodically?
   18. Did the presentation minimize distractions for the audience by removing distracting backgrounds and attention diverting animations?
   19. Are the slides clearly readable from the last row in the room?
   20. Consistent fonts and font sizes throughout the presentation
   21. Use colors and background. No black and white presentations.
   22. Include at least one reference and citation
   23. Include speaker notes. If you have not used speaker notes please research it on the Internet.
